Dear Friend of Sea Gull Century:

I am writing to detail an exciting event and opportunity for your business. On the weekend of September 27, 2014, Salisbury University will be hosting its 26th Annual Sea Gull Century - a nationally acclaimed bicycle event, touring the picturesque Eastern Shore of Maryland. A majority of the proceeds are donated to Century’s scholarships and grants at Salisbury University as well as many local civic groups within the tri-county area. Also, the following non-profits benefit greatly from this event: Habitat for Humanity, Team in Training, Women Supporting Women, and the Salisbury Zoo.

The first Sea Gull Century in 1988 had fewer than 80 riders and was only for local club members. Last year, the Century had over 7,500 cyclists, 400 volunteers, and 20 exhibitors. I would like to extend an invitation to your business for the 2014 Sea Gull Century:
