I am writing to you to detail an exciting event and opportunity for you and your business. The weekend of October 15th, 2011, Salisbury University is hosting the 23rd Annual Sea Gull Century - a nationally acclaimed bicycle event, touring the picturesque Eastern Shore of Maryland and offering a metric and century route. Proceeds are donated to many student programs and the Century’s scholarship at Salisbury University. Also, the Delmarva region benefits greatly from this event, just to name a few - Habitat for Humanity, Team in Training, Relay for Life, and Healthy U of Delmarva.
The first Sea Gull Century in 1989 had fewer than 100 riders and was only for local club members. Last year, the Century had over 8,000 riders, 200 volunteers, and 25 Exhibitors. I would like to extend an offer to you and your business for 2008 sponsorship opportunities (see multiple levels below):
